We arrive early in the morning at Dique "Paso las Piedras"
where we start cycling lonely gravel roads, surrounding the
lake, following low gentle hills towards Saldungaray. After
enjoying our lunch (Picnic) we will keep on riding until arriving
in "Sierra de la Ventana" where we´ll enjoy
a nice cake and tea! We´ll drive the last kilometres
to the cabines in "Villa Ventana", a beautiful holiday
villa that is surrounded by lots of trees, sierras and two
small rivers
48.7 km of Gravel roads (30 miles) -
375 meters (1230 Feet) uphill/400 meters (1310 Feet) downhill
Day 2:
We drive from our cabines and rapidly arrive at the Cerro
de la Ventana base camp, located near the famous Peak that
has an amazing 10 x 8 meters hole (window) in the peak, 1136
meters to get the best views and shots!
Then we will leave towards Parque Provincial Ernesto Tornquist.
Inside the park we will start cycling over its gravel singletrack
to reach the sierras and meet the sort of landscape the "Pampas"
had, before the start of the massive agriculture production.
We have a beautiful picnic inside the reserve and then we
leave towards Villa Ventana. There we'll reach the old Club
Hotel Casino Sierra de la Ventana that was built in 1900,
and by then was the first Argentinean Casino and the best
South American Hotel. Now we only have ruins of its amazing
structure and beautiful past. We will return back to our cabines
to shower and then have dinner at a restaurant.

Day 3:
This will be a fully single-track half day. We'll start following
the "Villa Ventana" River through a small path that
will challenge our technical skills. Once in "Fuente
del Bautismo" we'll enjoy a half-hour hike to arrive
to a waterfall and pool hidden in the Sierras (Baptism fountain).
We finish in the cabines for lunch and prepare ourselves for
the return to Buenos Aires. We depart at 4p.m. and arrive
late at night in the city.
